Rachel Atkins, BSN, RN, is a Registered Nurse at Body Works, providing hands-on patient care at the Franklin, Tennessee location. Rachel combines clinical expertise with a warm, energetic approach that makes every patient feel at ease.
Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2004. She began her nursing career in postpartum care and women’s oncology, where she developed a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-focused healthcare.
After spending 10 years as a stay-at-home mom raising her three children, Rachel returned to nursing at Body Works, bringing a refreshed perspective and genuine enthusiasm for patient wellness. Her background in women’s health and oncology care, combined with her natural warmth, makes her a valued member of the Body Works team serving patients across Franklin, Nolensville, and the greater Williamson County area.
Rachel lives in Franklin with her three busy kids and two doodles. You’ll usually find her on the sidelines of a game or activity cheering them on. A big Alabama football fan, Rachel brings energy, warmth, and a lot of fun to the office — earning her the nickname our resident “fluffer and puffer.”
